The Woman Behind The Lens, Sarah.

“A thing that you see in my pictures is that I was not afraid to fall in love with these people.”

— Annie Leibovitz

Hi, I’m Sarah, and I am so glad you’re here. I have always been on the social side, wanting to fill all my time surrounded by the people I love. After taking the personality test in high school, it was confirmed that my (extremely empathetic) right brain dominated self was indeed driven by connection with those around me.

Before absolutely falling head over heels in love with photography, I toyed with the idea of going into the field of psychology. There is something about connecting with others on an intimate and vulnerable level that feeds my soul. I think that’s why I love photography so much. It really is my dream job. I believe it is my way of combining my love for the arts with my love for deep human connection.

“I do not accept the ephemeral nature of this moment. I’m going to extend it. Forever. Or at least I’m going to try.”

- Jason Silva

work with me

Call me, when you need me, when your heart is on fire. Come to me bright eyed and wild. When your emotions are too deep for words. Because what’s a bigger feeling than love? When I am shooting, I don’t just want to capture love. I want to capture YOUR love. Whatever that may be to you. I want to create a space where you feel safe to be your most true and vulnerable self.

Time only moves faster as we get older, but I once heard that, “memories exist outside of time and have no beginning or end.” So let us elude to immortality, by defying impermanence with the photos we’ll take.

My approach

I would describe my approach to photography as a bit of documentary style with an emphasis on emotion, movement, and light in order to bring about dreamy nostalgia with a moody twist. Of course, I will help you to look your absolute best, and give you some posing advice or prompts to carry out, but overall, I want us to create authentic memories together. It is my goal for these photos to be still frames from the movie of your life. As if we have paused the home video on the vhs player. I strive for mood and emotion in my work. When you look back at these photos, I want everything you felt in that moment to come rushing back. Perfection is not the goal here. Instead, I aim only to make you feel something deep within your soul, both while creating the images and long after.
